really, really good! creepy atmosphere and great sound design. all the cues were pretty unexpected and the monster was very unexpected (i thought it'd be a vampire). great game!
Fifth and finally in the line up. What a great moody little banger of game. Short, well paced, interesting, and well functioning. Great work keep it up.
Liked that quite a bit, walking in the forest was very unsettling and the ghost scared the soul out of me on that little ravine. So, this being your first time using Godot Engine is pretty impressive, you did great! Your game starts at exactly 7:00 on my video.
Interesting concept. I mention it in the video, but I think I would have liked snippets of poems as we do the candles, or a more engaging ending that is explained a bit better. I like what's done, just wish the story felt a bit more solid! Linkeda the time played.
I see you played version 1.1 in which there was a minor bug making it difficult to find the key so that might have been the cause of the confusion :). Additionally, in version 1.2 I changed the intro a bit to guide the player to approach the car because there you can read the whole poem.
As for the snippets of the poem, that was actually my initial idea but it didn't really work so I gave up on it.
Overall, thank you so much for your comments, I have taken them to heart and will perhaps implement some! <3
Ahh I can definitely see how that direction would be good - I must have missed the poem at the car if it was in the version I played, which is unfortunate but I'll probably just check it out solo to read the poem! It felt like such a strange thing not being able to read the rest!! :o
Overall not a bad experience at all!! I like the ideas you were working with!
Any wood should be comforting to us, as green pastures are supposed to instill a sense of peacefulness in our solace, sorry souls. So we wander and trot onward through the rain-soaked density of trees and darkness. To what end? Is there any?
Didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags [besides getting a bit lost :o]
The atmosphere in this game is terrifying and super retro. Very reminiscent of an actual PSX style era and even with the story being so short, ambiguous and tense, the gameplay delivers on every level. No bugs, no performance issues (which is very often a problem with Godot games recently) - everything was great!
Best of luck with the future games and if this is your first project, judging from the profile, I got to say - impressive mate, truly impressive. Cheers!

Thank you so much for letting me know! I've already report them. Please don't download anything from his site as it might contain a virus
